Ellensburg is 10-0 against Othello since January of 2020 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. The two teams will meet in a dog eat dog contest at 5:30 p.m. The timing is sure in Ellensburg's favor as the squad sits on 26 straight wins at home (dating back to last season) while Othello has been banged up by three consecutive losses on the road.

Last Friday, Ellensburg took their contest with ease, bagging a 54-6 win over Ephrata. The Bulldogs have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 15 matchups by 20 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, Othello was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Friday as they fell 47-42 to Selah. While losing is never fun, the Huskies can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Washington basketball rankings (they are ranked 215th, while the Vikings are ranked 47th).

Othello's defeat dropped their record down to 6-12. As for Ellensburg, their victory bumped their record up to 19-0.

Everything came up roses for Ellensburg against Othello in their previous meeting back in January, as the team secured a 60-20 win. Will Ellensburg repeat their success, or does Othello have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
