Basketball Recap: Red Rock Comes Up Short

Red Rock played a tough contest on Wednesday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were dealt a 79-48 defeat at the hands of the Madison Highland Prep Heat. The loss continues a trend for the Scorpions in their matchups with the Heat: they've now lost four in a row.

Will Marsh was his usual excellent self, dropping a double-double with 15 points and 11 boards for Madison Highland Prep. The dominant performance gave Marsh a new career-high in rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Roy Chavez, who went 5 of 7 to rack up 12 points.

Red Rock's defeat dropped their record down to 5-13. As for Madison Highland Prep, their win bumped their record up to 13-6.

As of now, neither Red Rock nor Madison Highland Prep have any future games scheduled.
