It may have taken extra minutes to finish the job, but Liberty Christian ultimately got the result they hoped for on Friday. They narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past the Heritage Pioneers 6-5. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 6-4 back in April.

Liberty Christian is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 7-4 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 28 goals over those eight matchups. As for Heritage, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-6-2.
