With a playoff win on the line, Pinkerton rose to the challenge on Wednesday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Exeter Blue Hawks, sneaking past 3-2. The victory continues a trend for the Astros in their matchups with the Blue Hawks: they've now won three in a row.

Pinkerton's win bumped their record up to 17-3. As for Exeter, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-13-1 record this season.

Pinkerton will square off against Spaulding on Saturday. The Red Raiders will roll in looking for their eighth straight victory, something the Astros surely won't give up without a fight. Exeter does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
