Drew Blank Game Report: vs Hampton

Drew Blank won't forget Saturday's match any time soon: he posted double-digit points for the first time in his career. He dropped a double-double on 17 points and ten rebounds, but sadly Wilcox-Hildreth still had to take a 44-42 loss at the hands of Hampton. We marked that as the best performance he's had all season, even better than his effort on December 17th (when he put up eight points along with eight rebounds and three steals) (Gamescore: 20.3 vs. 3.8).

Blank and Wilcox-Hildreth will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Bertrand at 7:30 p.m. on January 7, 2025. Wilcox-Hildreth will be headed into this one with a sizable disadvantage in the rankings (they're ranked 160 places lower in Nebraska), but they're not letting that get them down.
