Soccer Game Preview: Minisink Valley vs. Warwick + How To Watch

Minisink Valley is 0-9 against Warwick since September of 2017 but things could change on Tuesday. The Warriors will head out to square off against the Wildcats at 6:00 p.m.

Minisink Valley came up short against Delaware Valley on Saturday, falling 4-1.

Warwick hadn't beaten Washingtonville on the road since October 18, 2022 but that history sure didn't bother them on Friday. The Wildcats walked away with a 3-1 win over the Wizards. Given Warwick's advantage in MaxPreps' New York soccer rankings (they are ranked 79th, while Washingtonville are ranked 256th) , the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Warwick's victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 8-3. Those road wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 17 goals over those four matches. As for Minisink Valley, their loss dropped their record down to 0-8.

Minisink Valley suffered a grim 3-0 defeat to Warwick when the teams last played back in September. Can the Warriors avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
