Pueblo South came out on top against Pueblo Centennial on Tuesday thanks in part to the team's impressive six-run fourth inning. The Colts blew past the Bulldogs 9-3. The Colts haven't had any issues with the Bulldogs recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive win against them.

Camron Montoya spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered three runs (all of which were unearned) on six hits and racked up eight Ks. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in four consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Kade Ortiz was a standout: he went 2-for-3 with three RBI and one double. Another player making a difference was Andrew Nolasco, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with two runs and one double.

Pueblo South's record now sits at 13-5. As for Pueblo Centennial, they dropped their record down to 2-13 with the defeat, which was their 11th straight at home.

Coincidentally, Pueblo South and Pueblo Centennial will both be playing Pueblo Central the next time they take the field. The Bulldogs will head out to face the Wildcats at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, while the Colts will host them at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
