Sheppard threw for 291 yards and four touchdowns while completing 84.2% of his passes while Williams picked up 148 receiving yards and three touchdowns. A healthy portion of Sheppard's aerial production (122 yards to be exact) also went to Zach Smith, who also brought in a receiving touchdown.

Johnston City's defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 11-2. As for Maroa-Forsyth, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 12-1.
