Volleyball Recap: Heritage Beats Thunderridge for Their Third Straight Win

Heritage waltzed into their match on Tuesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They put the hurt on the ThunderRidge Grizzlies with a sharp 3-0 victory. The Eagles have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Grizzlies, too.

Heritage was especially dominant in the third set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-17, 25-13.

Heritage's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Anneclaire Fieger, who had nine digs and four assists. Those nine digs gave Fieger a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Avery Samson, who had eight digs and four assists.

Heritage's victory bumped their record up to 7-4. As for ThunderRidge, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-9 record this season.

Heritage wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 3-1 defeat against Rock Canyon on the 25th. As for ThunderRidge, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-1 loss against Regis Jesuit on the 25th.
