Victory Charter hasn't had much luck against Notus recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Victory Charter Vipers are taking a road trip to challenge the Notus Pirates at 6:00 p.m. Victory Charter will be strutting in after a victory while Notus will be coming in after a loss.

Victory Charter is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They breezed by Gem State Adventist Academy to the tune of 51-10 on Monday. Winning may never get old, but the Vipers sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Keanna Gibbs had a dynamite game for Victory Charter, dropping a double-double on 19 points and ten steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Leah Ray, who posted 11 points and four steals.

Victory Charter smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 25 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least nine offensive rebounds in 11 consecutive games.

Meanwhile, Notus came up short against Riverstone International on Wednesday and fell 27-19. The Pirates have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Victory Charter pushed their record up to 7-10 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 17.0 points per game. As for Notus, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-14.
