Baseball Recap: Wayne Trace Picks Up Fourth Straight Win on the Road

Wayne Trace proved they can win big on Wednesday (they won by nine) and on Thursday they proved they can win the close ones too. They skirted past the Edgerton Bulldogs 5-4. The Raiders haven't had any issues with the Bulldogs recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive win against them.

Wayne Trace's victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 14-5. Those road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.0 runs on average over those games. As for Edgerton, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 8-8.
