Basketball Recap: New Braunfels Continues Home Dominance on Friday

New Braunfels won the last time they faced Pieper and things went their way on Friday too. The New Braunfels Unicorns enjoyed a cozy 65-48 win over the Pieper Warriors. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Unicorns.

Despite the loss, Pieper still got an impressive performance from MAYSON THOMAS, who almost dropped a double-double on 13 points and nine rebounds. THOMAS is also on a roll when it comes to field goal percentage, as he's posted one of at least 45% in the last four games he's played. Another player making a difference was PORTER JENSEN, who posted six points and five boards.

New Braunfels pushed their record up to 23-12 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 68.3 points over those games. As for Pieper, their defeat dropped their record down to 20-12.
