Soccer Recap: Hanford Takes a Loss

The home team had won the previous five meetings between Hanford and Richland, and Richland kept the tradition alive. While the 0-0 score might suggest a draw, it was the Bombers who were credited with the victory on Tuesday. The Richland Bombers got it done in the shootout by posting three goals to the Hanford Falcons' two. While losing is never fun, Hanford can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Washington soccer rankings (they are ranked 127th, while Richland are ranked 31st).

Hanford has also been struggling recently as they've lost ten of their last 13 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-11 record this season. As for Richland, they are on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 12 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-5 record this season.

As of now, neither Hanford nor Richland have any future games scheduled.
