Ramona had already won nine in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 7 runs) and they went ahead and made it ten on Friday. They were the clear victors by a 9-3 margin over the Palo Verde Valley Yellow Jackets. The Bulldogs might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won nine matchups by six runs or more this season.

Alex Wilson spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned (and two unearned) runs on five hits and racked up 12 Ks. He has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than two walks in eight consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Ramona let Derek Taylor and Tallon Ogilive run wild. Taylor went 1-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double, while Ogilive went 1-for-3 with two RBI, one run, and one double. Taylor is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last four games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Noah Bedia, who went 3-for-4 with one stolen base and one RBI.

Ramona was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .387. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .304 or higher in seven consecutive contests.

Ramona's victory was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 21-7. The home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.7 runs over those games. As for Palo Verde Valley, their loss dropped their record down to 15-13-1.

As of now, neither Ramona nor the Yellow Jackets have any future games scheduled.
