Basketball Recap: First Baptist Christian Takes a Loss

First Baptist Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They were six points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 50-44 heartbreaker at the hands of the Calvary Christian Spartans. The Sabres were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Spartans apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in March of 2019.

Calvary Christian's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Christian Rogan, who to rack up 13 points. Another player making a difference was Daniel Young, who on his way to 14 points.

First Baptist Christian now has a losing record of 7-8. As for Calvary Christian, their win ended a seven-game drought on the road and puts them at 5-13.

First Baptist Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Calvary Christian, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 64-26 loss against Troy Christian on the 22nd.
