Volleyball Recap: Escalon Comes Up Short

It was a proper cat-fight when Escalon duked it out with Windsor on Friday. The Cougars fell just short of the Jaguars by a score of 2-1. The Cougars were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Jaguars apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in October of 2022.

Despite the loss, Escalon still got an impressive performance from Emma Rangel, who had 12 digs. Rangel is crushing it when it comes to digs: she's had at least 11 every time she's taken the court this season.

Escalon's loss dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Windsor, their victory bumped their record up to 7-2.

Escalon didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 defeat against Del Oro on the 29th. As for Windsor, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Castro Valley on the 30th.
