Volleyball Recap: Make It Three in a Row for Pepperell

Pepperell had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Wednesday. They came out on top against the Heard County Braves by a score of 2-0. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Dragons also won the last time the pair played back in September of 2024.

Pepperell never let Heard County on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. The final score came out to 25-16, 25-22.

Kaitlyn House paced Pepperell's offense, picking up five kills. House got some help from Brinkley Wheat and her six assists. Hannah Smith controlled things from the service line, finishing with six aces.

Pepperell's victory bumped their record up to 19-12. As for Heard County, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 18-17 record this season.

Coincidentally, Pepperell and Heard County will both be playing Bremen the next time they take the court. The Braves will head out to face the Blue Devils at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, while the Dragons will play them later in the day, at 7:00 p.m.
