Softball Recap: Pemberton Finds Home Field Redemption Against Stemcivics

There's no place like home for Pemberton, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They put the hurt on STEMCivics with a sharp 32-1 victory on Monday. The Hornets' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

Pemberton's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-3. As for STEMCivics, they are on a 14-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Pemberton will take on Maple Shade at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Pemberton will need to watch out since Maple Shade has now posted at least ten runs every time they've taken the field this season. As for STEMCivics, they will square off against Keansburg at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
