Having struggled with three defeats in a row, Cy-Fair turned things around against Morton Ranch on Tuesday. They came out on top against the Mavericks by a score of 34-26.

Meanwhile, Langham Creek was able to grind out a solid win over Cypress Creek on Monday, taking the game 49-37. The victory continues a trend for the Lobos in their matchups with the Cougars: they've now won four in a row.

Langham Creek's win came from a few key players Cy-Fair will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Brooke Prevost, who posted 14 points and five rebounds. She is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in each of the last three games she's played. Another player making a difference was Reese Fernandez, who went 6-for-12 en route to 18 points and five boards.
