Softball Recap: Trigg County Picks Up Third Consecutive Victory

Seven must be Trigg County's lucky number: they beat Russellville with that score not once but twice on Saturday. The Wildcats came out on top in a nail-biter against the Panthers, sneaking past 7-5. Winning may never get old, but the Wildcats sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Trigg County's victory bumped their record up to 10-7. As for Russellville, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-6 record this season.

Trigg County will challenge Crittenden County at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Russellville, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next matchup, a 16-1 defeat against Warren East on the 14th.
