Lutheran is a perfect 7-0 against Air Academy since October of 2022 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Lions will be playing in front of their home fans against the Kadets at 6:00 p.m. Lutheran will be looking to extend their current nine-game winning streak.

On Friday, Lutheran made easy work of Cheyenne Mountain and carried off a 3-0 win.

Lutheran never let Cheyenne Mountain on the board, but things got pretty close in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 25-14, 25-19.

Meanwhile, Air Academy came up short against Lewis-Palmer on Thursday, falling 3-0. The Kadets haven't had much luck with the Rangers recently, as the team has come up short the last nine times they've met.

While Air Academy ultimately came up short, they really made Lewis-Palmer work, particularly in the third set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-9, 26-24.

Lutheran will have to contain Shelbe Lyons as she made an impact in Air Academy's last game. She had 19 digs and two assists. Lyons has been hot recently, having posted 13 or more digs the last three times she's played.

Lutheran's victory bumped their record up to 14-3. As for Air Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-7.

Lutheran took their win against Air Academy in their previous meeting on October 2nd by a conclusive 3-0 score. Do the Lions have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Kadets turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
