Bergman piles up the points against Green Forest

In what's become a running theme this season, the Bergman Panthers gave their fans yet another huge victory on Friday. They blew past Green Forest, posting a 81-37 win on the road. 81 seems to be a good number for Bergman as the team scooped up a victory with the same number of points in their previous game.

Green Forest's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Brityn Gilliam, who scored eight points along with five rebounds. Another player making a difference was Brayden Compton, who scored seven points along with two steals.

Even though they lost, Green Forest were working as a unit and finished the game with 11 assists. This was only their 15th loss (out of 20 games) when they've passed the ball that well.

The win was the fifth in a row for Bergman, bringing their record for this year to 24-8. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 72.6 points per game. As for Green Forest, they are on a 13-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-20.

Bergman will be playing at home against Lincoln at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Lincoln has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. As for Green Forest, they will head out on the road to take on Flippin at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Flippin is coming into the matchup on a three-game losing streak.
