Softball Recap: Edison Takes a Loss

Edison blew Lanier out of the water the last time the pair played, but on Friday Lanier got their revenge. Edison fell just short of Lanier by a score of 8-6. The Golden Bears' defeat continues a trend for the team, making it four in a row.

Edison's loss dropped their record down to 1-9-1. As for Lanier, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-12.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Edison is set to square off against their familiar foe Jefferson at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Lanier will challenge rival Burbank at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
