Baseball Recap: Patrick Henry Takes a Loss

Wednesday just wasn't the day for Patrick Henry's offense. They lost 12-0 to the Atlee Raiders on Wednesday. The Patriots haven't had much luck with the Raiders recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Patrick Henry's defeat dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Atlee, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-2 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Patrick Henry will face off against rival Hanover at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Atlee is set to take on their familiar foe Mechanicsville at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Raiders 1.1, the Mustangs 1.8) so any runs scored will be well earned.
