Basketball Recap: Calvary Christian Academy Takes a Loss

Calvary Christian Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They fell 54-44 to the DePue Little Giants. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Knights of the 46-37 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in December of 2023.

Calvary Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 3-8. As for DePue, with the win, they broke their nine-game losing streak and moved their record to 2-11.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Calvary Christian Academy will face off against Walther Christian Academy at 4:00 p.m. on January 4, 2025. As for DePue, they will take on Wethersfield at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday. Someone's luck will take a turn for the better: Wethersfield has lost three straight at home , while DePue has lost six on the road (dating back to last season).
