Baseball Recap: Portsmouth Comes Up Short in High-Profile Game with Keene

Portsmouth faced Keene in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Wednesday. The Clippers fell 5-2 to the Blackbirds. The Clippers haven't had much luck with the Blackbirds recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Portsmouth's loss dropped their record down to 9-7. As for Keene, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 12-13.

Looking ahead, Portsmouth will venture away from home to square off against Concord at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Keene does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
