Centerville hadn't done well against Franklin County recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. The Centerville Bulldogs were the clear victor by a 72-51 margin over the Franklin County Wildcats. Winning may never get old, but the Bulldogs sure are getting used to it with their seventh in a row.

Centerville got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Ethan Vecera out in front who dropped a double-double with 16 points and ten assists. That's the most points Vecera has posted since back in November of 2023. Jace Hollendonner was another key player, going 5-for-8 on his way to 14 points.

Centerville pushed their record up to 14-6 with the victory, which was their fifth straight on the road. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 57.8 points over those games. As for Franklin County, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-13.

Looking ahead, Centerville will square off against Union City at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Centerville is facing Union City at the right time seeing as Union City is stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Franklin County, they will take on Connersville at 7:30 p.m. on February 21st.
