Goodhue's game on Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Monday. Everything went their way against the Kenyon-Wanamingo Knights as they made off with a 17-4 victory. The Wildcats might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six games by six runs or more this season.

Emma Voth made a splash no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run over five innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two walks in five consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 3-for-4 with five RBI, one triple, and one double. That's the most hits she has posted since back in April.

In other batting news, Jenna Nelson was incredible, going a perfect 4-for-4 with three runs, three RBI, and one stolen base. Those three RBI gave her a new career-high. Aubrey Christianson was another key player, going 1-for-4 with four stolen bases and three runs.

Goodhue hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their strikeout total in three consecutive contests.
