Even though the Meyersdale Red Raiders scored an imposing 61 points on Monday, the Shanksville Stonycreek Vikings still came out on top. Shanksville Stonycreek managed a 66-61 victory over Meyersdale. That's another feather in the cap for Shanksville Stonycreek, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Christian Musser was on fire: he scored 27 points along with 7 rebounds and 5 steals. The matchup was his third in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Mike Kipp, who scored 10 points along with 4 steals.
Shanksville Stonycreek's win bumped their record up to 1-2. As for Meyersdale, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-3.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Shanksville Stonycreek's road trip will continue as they head out to face Salisbury Elk Lick at 7:00 p.m. on December 7th. As for Meyersdale, they will take on Everett at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
