Volleyball Recap: Seaside Christian Academy Falls to Greenwood Mennonite in First Game of Season

Seaside Christian Academy unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They lost 3-0 to the Greenwood Mennonite Flames on Thursday. Sadly, the loss continues a streak the team started last season, making it seven in a row.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-8, 25-17, 25-14.

Anna Schrock was the offensive standout of the contest as she had six aces. Those six aces gave her a new career-high.

The win got Greenwood Mennonite back to even at 1-1.

Coming up, Greenwood Mennonite will head out to face off against Central Christian at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Seaside Christian Academy will be paying especially close attention to the Flames' matchup: after the Flames face off against Central Christian, they'll take on Seaside Christian Academy again at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
