Basketball Recap: Bohemia Manor Comes Up Short

Bohemia Manor was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They fell 34-27 to the North East Indians. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Indians this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 40-32 back in January.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead North East to victory, but perhaps none more so than Ada Dominick, who posted seven points along with 11 boards and five steals. Those 11 rebounds gave Dominick a new career-high. Kierstyn Lagano was another key player, putting up 11 points and eight boards.

Bohemia Manor's defeat dropped their record down to 1-16. As for North East, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 10-9.

Bohemia Manor has already played their next contest (against Joppatowne), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for North East, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 44-40 victory against Aberdeen on the 18th.
