Mohave Accelerated hasn't had much luck against Kingman Academy recently, but that could start to change on Wednesday. Mohave Accelerated will be playing in front of their home fans against Kingman Academy at 3:00 p.m. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Mohave Accelerated proved they can win big on Monday (they won by 24) and on Friday they proved they can win the close ones too. They won by a run and slipped past Madison Highland Prep 7-6.

The team relied heavily on Martin Abundiz, who scored two runs while going 3-for-4.

Abundiz wasn't the only one working in the hit department: Mohave Accelerated kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. That's the most hits they've posted since back in April of 2024.

He is becoming a predictor of Kingman Academy's success: when he allows at most one earned run the team is 2-1 (and 4-6-1 when he doesn't). Russell was even better at the plate, going 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one triple. That triple marked the first that he hit this season.

In other batting news, Kingman Academy got a massive performance out of Pax McFadyen, who fired off two home runs and four RBI while going 2-for-4. McFadyen also scored two runs, which is notable because Kingman Academy is undefeated when he posts at least two runs, but 2-7-1 otherwise. Gavin Hopper was another key player, scoring three runs and stealing two bases while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances.
