Volleyball Game Preview: Central DeWitt vs. Bettendorf Bulldogs

Central DeWitt hasn't had much luck against Bettendorf recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. After both having extra time off, the two teams will shake off the rust and duke it out at 6:30 p.m. After the two teams made easy work of their previous opponents, one won't be so lucky on Tuesday.

Central DeWitt barely beat Davenport Central the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. Central DeWitt blew past Davenport Central 3-0 on Tuesday. Central DeWitt not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since September 15th (when they won 3-0).

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Bettendorf, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Tuesday. They put the hurt on Muscatine with a sharp 3-0 win on Tuesday. The victory continues a trend for the Bulldogs in their matchups with the Muskies: they've now won four in a row.

Bettendorf now has a winning record of 12-11. As for Central DeWitt, their win bumped their record up to 11-9.
