Baseball Game Preview: Ellington Knights vs. East Granby Crusaders

The Ellington Knights will square off against the East Granby Crusaders at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Ellington is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.2 runs per game this season.

Ellington's pitching crew heads into the matchup hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Saturday. They were the clear victors by a 10-0 margin over East Windsor. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Knights considering their one-run performance the contest before.

Chase Thomas was a standout: he went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, one run, and one double. That's the most stolen bases he has posted since back in April. Another player making a difference was Dylan Killoran, who went 2-for-4 with two runs and two RBI.
