Volleyball Recap: Victoria Torrence's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Calabasas over Oaks Christian

Calabasas was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the Oaks Christian Lions. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Lions this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 25-17, 25-14.

Calabasas' defeat came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Victoria Torrence, who had eight assists and seven digs.

Calabasas' loss dropped their record down to 6-16. As for Oaks Christian, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 23-4.

Calabasas has already played their next contest, a 3-1 defeat against Westlake on the 9th. As for Oaks Christian, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-2 win against Thousand Oaks on the 9th.
