Baseball Recap: Page Comes Up Short

Page was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against the Ragsdale Tigers, falling 12-2. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Tigers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 10-5 last Tuesday.

Page saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was John Grieco, who went 2-for-3 with one double and one RBI.

Page's defeat dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Ragsdale, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 5-3.

Page wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 10-4 loss against Somerset on the 15th. As for Ragsdale, they have also already played their next contest, a 4-3 win against Southeast Guilford on the 18th.
