Softball Recap: Wilsonville Wildcats vs. Hood River Valley Eagles        
        
		
            
 In what's become a running theme this season, Wilsonville gave their fans yet another huge  victory on Friday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Hood River Valley Eagles  a   7-0 shutout. The  win was familiar territory for Wilsonville who now have six in a row.
  Mia Rucker tossed a big game,   not allowing a single  earned run and  only one  hit over six innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't  pitched less than five  innings in nine consecutive pitching appearances.
 On the hitting side,  Grace Wilson was  incredible,  going 3-for-4 with a  home run, three  RBI,  and a  double.  Maddie Holly was another key contributor,  going 4-for-4 with two  doubles and two  RBI.
 Wilsonville pushed their record up to 12-7-1 with that  victory, which was their fifth straight  at home. As for Hood River Valley, they have  been struggling recently as they've  lost five of their last six matchups,  which put a noticeable dent in their 9-11 record  this season.
 Both  squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Wilsonville will  challenge Hillsboro at 5:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. Wilsonville's pitching crew has only allowed 2.6  runs per game  this season, so Hillsboro's hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Hood River Valley, they will head out on the road to  take on  Putnam at 4:30  p.m.  on Tuesday.
