Volleyball Recap: Bandys Has No Trouble Against Bunker Hill

Bandys won the last time they faced Bunker Hill and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Trojans were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Bears. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Trojans.

While Bandys might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Bunker Hill scored at least 21 points in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-22, 25-21, 25-22.

Gracyn Hollifield paced Bandys' offense, picking up 12 kills. Hollifield got some help from Camdyn Earnhardt and her 23 assists. Earnhardt was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Bandys now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Bunker Hill, they are on a seven-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Bandys is set to face off against their familiar foe Newton-Conover at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Bunker Hill will take on rival East Lincoln at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
