Basketball Recap: Rock Creek Academy Lions vs. Crothersville Tigers
Rock Creek Academy won against Crothersville last Saturday with 81 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Sunday. The Rock Creek Academy Lions strolled past the Crothersville Tigers with points to spare, taking the game 81-62. Given the Lions' advantage in MaxPreps' Indiana basketball rankings (they are ranked 183rd, while the Tigers are ranked 370th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Rock Creek Academy to victory, but perhaps none more so than Gavon Taylor, who dropped a double-double on 20 points and 11 assists. That's the most assists Taylor has posted since back in February of 2024. Garrett Gullion was another key player, dropping a double-double on 13 points and 16 rebounds.

After both having extra time off, Crothersville and Christian Academy of Madison will dust off their jerseys to take on one another at 7:30 p.m. on January 9th.
