Volleyball Game Preview: Everett Seagulls vs. Edmonds-Woodway Warriors + Official Tickets

The Everett Seagulls are taking a road trip to take on the Edmonds-Woodway Warriors at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Everett is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Thursday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over Oak Harbor. The win continues a trend for the Seagulls in their matchups with the Wildcats: they've now won four in a row.

Everett not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Oak Harbor between 17 and 20 points across their sets. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-17, 25-20.

Everett found their leader in freshman Elsa Breeden, who had four digs and four aces. Ava Gonzalez also deserves some recognition as she posted her first assist of the season.

Meanwhile, Edmonds-Woodway beat Shorecrest 3-1 on Monday.

Everett's record now sits at 11-7. As for Edmonds-Woodway, their record is now 12-5.

Everett came out on top in a nail-biter against Edmonds-Woodway when the teams last played back in October of 2018, sneaking past 3-2. Will the Seagulls repeat their success, or do the Warriors have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
