Baseball Preview: Columbus North Bull Dogs vs. Westfield Shamrocks

The Columbus North Bull Dogs will head out on the road to challenge the Westfield Shamrocks at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Columbus North's pitching crew has only allowed 2.6 runs per game this season, so Westfield's hitters will have their work cut out for them.

Nathan Bodenberg looked comfortable as he pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks in eight consecutive pitching appearances.

At the plate, Drew Law was excellent, going 2-for-4 with a triple, a stolen base, and a run. The team also got some help courtesy of Ben Wasserstrom, who scored a run while going 2-for-3.
