Cherokee entered their tilt with Campbell County on Friday with two consecutive wins , and they'll enter their next game with three. Their defense stepped up to hand the Campbell County Cougars a 4-0 shutout. The Chiefs have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Cougars, too.

Cherokee's record now sits at 3-0. As for Campbell County, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-2.
