Basketball Recap: Sophie Whitaker Leads a Balanced Attack to Beat Dunbar

School Without Walls hadn't done well against Dunbar recently (they were 0-7 in their previous seven matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. The School Without Walls Penguins came out on top against the Dunbar Crimson Tide by a score of 45-38. This was payback for the Penguins, who suffered a 51-15 defeat the last time these two teams met.

School Without Walls' win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Sophie Whitaker, who went 6 for 15 on her way to 14 points and five rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Eleanor Olesh, who went 5 of 12 on her way to 13 points and five blocks.

School Without Walls' record now sits at 8-2. As for Dunbar, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-9.
