Soccer Recap: North Forney Comes Up Short

North Forney didn't get the result they wanted in their first game with Garland on Tuesday. While the 2-2 score might suggest a draw, it was the Garland Owls who were credited with the win. If the Falcons were looking for revenge after losing 5-1 to them when the teams met, then they'll just have to keep looking.

The victory made it two in a row for Garland and bumps their season record up to 2-0.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. North Forney will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on West Mesquite at 12:00 p.m. on December 30th. Garland also won't see the pitch for a while: their next matchup is against Dripping Springs at 6:00 p.m. on January 2, 2025.
