Basketball Recap: Eight Straight Road Wins for Rockland

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Rockland). Everything went their way against the Raft River Trojans on Friday as the Rockland Bulldogs made off with a 61-38 victory. That's more bragging rights for the Bulldogs, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Rockland's win was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 3-1. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 29.8 points. As for Raft River, they are on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Rockland will be defending their home court for the first time this season when they go up against Butte County at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Butte County will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Rockland surely won't give up without a fight. Raft River will take on Lighthouse Christian in a holiday battle at at 7:30 p.m. on December 20th.
