Ledyard came tearing into Tuesday's contest with four straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 18.3 points) and they left with even more momentum. They enjoyed a cozy 57-38 victory over the Griswold Wolverines. Given the Colonels' advantage in MaxPreps' Connecticut basketball rankings (they are ranked 13th, while the Wolverines are ranked 77th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Ledyard has also been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matches, which provided a nice bump to their 12-3 record this season. As for Griswold, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-8.

Ledyard will have a chance to go back-to-back against Griswold: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
