Meanwhile, Jefferson Area entered their tilt with Brookfield on Saturday with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. They won by a goal and slipped past the Warriors 2-1. That's two games straight that the Falcons have won by just one goal.
Perry's loss dropped their record down to 2-6-2. As for Jefferson Area, their victory bumped their record up to 4-6.
Perry skirted past Jefferson Area 5-4 in their previous matchup back in October of 2023. The rematch might be a little tougher for Perry since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
