Basketball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Andrea Hardy and Jasmine Germany Lead Friendly to Victory

Friendly's game last Thursday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Monday. They walked away with a 48-41 victory over College Park Academy. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Patriots also won the last time the pair played back in February of 2024.

Friendly was led to victory by Jasmine Germany and Andrea Hardy. Germany went 7 of 17 en route to 20 points and six rebounds, while Hardy almost dropped a double-double on 17 points and nine boards. Hardy has been hot, having posted eight or more boards the last five times she's played.

Friendly's win bumped their record up to 10-5. As for College Park Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-10.

Friendly won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Fairmont Heights at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for College Park Academy, they also won't have to wait long for more action: they'll face off against Oxon Hill at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Oxon Hill will roll in looking for their ninth straight victory, something College Park Academy surely won't give up without a fight.
