Basketball Recap: Amir Hall Leads a Balanced Attack to Beat Waterford

New London won the last time they faced Waterford and things went their way on Thursday too. The New London Whalers blew past the Waterford Lancers 84-58. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Whalers.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead New London to victory, but perhaps none more so than Amir Hall, who posted 22 points and five steals. Those five steals gave Hall a new career-high. Jayvon Robinson was another key player, going 6 of 12 on his way to 21 points.

New London's victory bumped their record up to 2-0.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. New London will head out to take on Bloomfield at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Waterford, they will venture away from home to face off against Glastonbury at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
