The EPIC Academy The Legends lost against the Urban Prep-Bronzeville Lions back in November of 2021, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. EPIC Academy was outmatched by Urban Prep-Bronzeville on the road and fell 75-15. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for EPIC Academy in their matchups with Urban Prep-Bronzeville: they've now lost four in a row.
Despite the loss, EPIC Academy still got an impressive performance from Antwan Donley , who scored 7 points. Donley scored a full 46.7% of EPIC Academy's points, the second time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points.
Urban Prep-Bronzeville's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Tristan Hunter, who scored 18 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jakari Dismukes, who scored 15 points.
EPIC Academy's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Urban Prep-Bronzeville, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-0.
Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Chicago Vocational the next time they take the court. EPIC Academy will head out to face Chicago Vocational at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, while Urban Prep-Bronzeville will host them at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
